CHIROPRACTIC
ALLEVIATING PAIN & DYSFUNCTION
Chiropractic care is a natural hands-on approach to promote and support optimal body function. Our focus is the treatment and health of spine, joints, muscles, nerves, organs, as well as pain management and resolution.
In today’s world there are emotional and physical stressors which can manifest uniquely for each individual as dysfunction and/or pain in the body. Through an understanding of the role our spine plays in the function of our nervous system, we can target and alleviate many of these dysfunctions.
Our bodies adapt to the stressors in our lives and in our environment - such as physical traumas, emotional stress and lifestyle choices - and form patterns. Treatment is targeted to alleviate the dysfunction and any associated pain specific to each individual patient's needs.
Treatment can include spine and joint adjustment, soft-tissue work, and energy work, with the goal being to empower patients to better understand their stressors and subsequent patterns, ultimately reducing the number of treatments they require.
During your first visit with Dr. Liz, she’ll go over your health history with you as well as a health assessment. This may include vitals, posture, orthopedic, and neurological assessments. If no contraindications are found, your treatment can begin.
“I have never seen a chiropractor and I was SO skeptical before I came here. In Good Health has changed my perspective and life - I’m convinced Dr. Franqui is a wizard! She knew I was nervous coming in and made sure to explain everything beforehand so I felt safe and comfortable as she was adjusting. I have experienced back pain for over two years and after only one treatment, the majority of my pain was gone. I woke up the next morning and cried because I forgot what it felt like to wake up without stabbing pains! I am so thankful and forever indebted to the staff at In Good Health.”

MASSAGE THERAPY
RELIEVING STRESS & TENSION
The practice of therapeutic massage is one of the oldest methods of healing. It is the hands-on manipulation of the soft tissues of the body (including muscles, connective tissue, tendons, ligaments, and joints) for the purpose of optimizing health and wellness. It can help to alleviate musculoskeletal disorders associated with everyday stress, muscular overuse and chronic pain conditions. Some common techniques used to positively affect the soft tissues and joints are kneading, pressure, joint mobilization, and stretching.
Massage therapy can aid in decreasing stress, increasing relaxation, reducing or eliminating pain, reducing muscular tension, improving joint mobility, improving lymphatic drainage, improving posture, and promoting restful sleep.

Before your massage treatment, it is recommended that you have a glass of water and, if needed, visit the restroom before your treatment begins to ensure your comfort for the duration of your appointment. Your RMT will conduct a brief assessment to figure out the root cause of any symptoms you may be experiencing so they know how best to treat you. After your treatment, they will go over safe and effective home care techniques such as stretching and strengthening to help address any musculoskeletal issues.
